How to Get Straight Sexy Hair Long Hairstyles

Straight and sexy hair is back. But how can you get yours bouncin' and behavin'? You'll need to a prep serum or gel, a sturdy brush, a good source of heat, and spray to hold it all in place.

Say hello to straight. "The wave thing has been done to death," exclaims Harry Josh, creative consultant for John Frieda Collection. Straight hair is back for fall, "but it's a new straight," says Josh. "Not pin straight -- a softer, bouncy look reminiscent of hair that's been set in rollers, then brushed out." How can you get your hair bouncin' and behavin'?

"The key to this look is the flare at the ends," says Adrian Wallace, of the Rita Hazan Salon in New York City, who talks us through the five elements of this smooth style.

A heat-protective silicone serum will give your hair just enough slip to smooth it out while it keeps your fine strands from getting fried.
